Bigwords.page – Turn any screen into a sign. The URL is the app
Turns a URL into a full-screen sign, countdown or scrolling message — nothing is stored
Bigwords.page encodes an entire sign, timer or message inside the URL's fragment after the #, so opening the link renders it full-screen with no account, app or server storage involved — the link itself is the whole display. You build it with a visual editor or by hand with &key=value settings (background color, font, countdown, QR code, slide intervals), and because the message lives in the fragment, it's never sent to the server at all. It's free to use for anything from an arrivals sign to a café Wi-Fi password display to a boarding countdown.

What holds up
- +Message lives in the URL fragment, which browsers never send to a server — nothing is stored anywhere
- +No account, app or install — a link you can bookmark or text to someone is the entire app
- +Supports countdowns, QR codes, multiple slides and animations, all via URL parameters
Mind the limits
- −No shortcuts for advanced features beyond the editor — complex signs mean hand-editing URL parameters
- −Anyone with the link can see and edit the sign — there's no access control beyond the URL itself
