Carnet lays a week across one spread — tasks, appointments and a notes box — plus a 'this week' bucket for things that don't have a day yet, a free journal page per day, and full-text search with ⌘K instead of folders. It explicitly isn't a productivity system: no streaks, no gamified goals, no schedule optimized to the minute, just a place to write things down so they stop circling in your head. One scratch-note field on each day's spread is intentionally not saved.
