Listed Oct 04, 2026

CaughtShipping watches a curated list of work apps after a cutoff time you set (starting 8-10 PM, lasting at least 7 hours), and if one is open past a 5-minute grace period, it posts the "fall" to a public Blotter and resets your streak. It never blocks anything — no force-quit, no screen lock — and is explicit about what it tracks: just which app and when for free, or hourly per-app totals for the $7/month Rested tier. It never logs window titles, file names, URLs, keystrokes or screenshots.

What holds up

  • +Never blocks or force-quits anything — just a notification, then public exposure if you ignore it.
  • +States exactly what it skips logging: window titles, file names, URLs, keystrokes, screenshots.
  • +Free tier already includes the full public Wall and Blotter — paid tier only adds reporting.

Mind the limits

  • −Public by design — a missed curfew posts to the Blotter under your own handle.
  • −Only two overrides and four pause days a month — real emergencies beyond that still count as a fall.
  • −macOS is further along than Windows, per the site, so the Windows experience may lag.
