CodeTrain breaks a coding task into small steps, asks Socratic questions, and reviews each line you write — it never hands you the fix. Point it at any public GitHub repo and it builds a lesson from that actual code; the free plan gives ten lessons a month, and Pro runs the same tutoring against your own local checkout on 127.0.0.1, so your code never leaves your machine. It's explicitly in beta and still "improving every week."
