CourtSensei
Lets basketball coaches draw plays, plan practice, scout opponents and track games in one app.
CourtSensei ties together the things basketball coaches juggle across separate tools: a play-diagramming whiteboard, practice planning linked to timed drill blocks, opponent scouting reports, live game stat tracking, shot maps, and video clip libraries, all exportable as PDF. It replaces whiteboard photos, WhatsApp clips, Excel scouting sheets, and Google Docs drills with one connected workspace tied to your team and season. The founders — one with 170+ EuroLeague games, the other with eight ACB seasons — built it from their own experience as players watching how coaches actually use scouts and film. The demo data on the site is explicitly marked fictional, and sample PDFs are downloadable before you commit to the 14-day free trial.
What holds up
- +14-day free trial, no card — try it with your own team before paying.
- +Built by two pro players with 170+ EuroLeague games and eight ACB seasons between them.
- +Demo data is explicitly labeled fictional — no inflated screenshots pretending to be real results.
- +Sample PDFs are downloadable upfront, so you see the actual output before signing up.
Mind the limits
- −Screens are English-only, per the site — a barrier for non-English-speaking staff.
- −Replaces several familiar tools (Excel, WhatsApp, Google Docs) at once — a bigger switch than adding one app.
