CronWatch is a library, not a hosted service — it logs every scheduled job run straight into your own SQLite, Postgres, MySQL, or D1 database, with SDKs for nine languages plus WordPress, Drupal, and Craft plugins. It flags jobs that are missing, failed, stuck, slow, or over budget, and alerts carry the error plus the last lines of output instead of a bare notification. A run that exits cleanly but doesn't contain the output you expected still counts as a failure. Triage is opt-in and sends the failure to Anthropic for a short diagnosis; otherwise nothing leaves your own database.

What holds up

  • +Runs as a library in your own database — no separate server, no account to make.
  • +MIT licensed with SDKs for nine languages plus WordPress, Drupal and Craft plugins.
  • +Flags a run that exits clean but has the wrong output, not just crashes — catches silent failures.
  • +AI triage is opt-in — your data only reaches Anthropic if you turn it on with your own API key.

Mind the limits

  • −You host and query the database yourself — there's no hosted dashboard to just log into.
  • −AI triage needs your own Anthropic API key — it's not included free.
