Drudow
Sends photos, bills and notes from WhatsApp into Google Drive, then finds them by description.
You send a bill, a whiteboard photo or a voice note to Drudow on WhatsApp, and it saves it into a Google Drive folder — one you name, or one it picks. Ask for something back in plain words, like "my physics gravitation notes," and it finds the file without you remembering names or folders. It also merges several photos of one document into a single PDF, edits PDFs (merge, split, rotate, compress), and sets reminders from dates it spots on a bill or ticket. It uses Google's narrow drive.file permission, so it can only see files it created — the rest of your Drive stays invisible to it by Google's own enforcement, not just a promise.
What holds up
- +Uses Google's drive.file permission — it can't see the rest of your Drive; Google enforces that
- +Combines several photos of one document into a single PDF automatically
- +Free during early access, with PDF tools (merge, split, rotate, compress) included at no extra cost
Mind the limits
- −Free tier caps how much you can save and fetch each day — heavy users will hit the ceiling
- −Only works with Google Drive — no option for Dropbox, iCloud or other storage
