FreelancerGuard
Scores a client's message for scope-creep, devaluation and urgency red flags before you reply.
Paste a client inquiry and FreelancerGuard runs it through a rules-based detector that flags specific phrases — "simple project," "shouldn't take long," "need this done by end of week" — and scores them across scope creep, devaluation and relationship risk, each out of 20. In the example it scored 80/100, "critical risk," on five flagged patterns, with a one-line reason attached to every flag. It also includes a Scope Creep Email Generator for when a client asks for extra work outside the agreement. Being rules-based rather than a model means the same message scores the same way every time, and scans run in your browser with nothing sent or stored.

What holds up
- +Rules-based scoring — the same message gets the same score every time, not a model's guess
- +Runs in your browser — nothing is sent or stored, per the landing page
- +Each flagged phrase comes with the reason it fired, not just a number
- +3 free scans, no signup for the first one — you can try it before committing
Mind the limits
- −Not a legal tool — it flags clarification risk, it doesn't judge if a client is actually bad
- −Rules-based, so it only catches phrasing patterns it's built to look for, not every red flag
