GetWello
One-tap daily check-in so family knows an older relative is okay
GetWello gives an older relative one big button to tap that tells the whole family Circle they're okay, instead of a chain of morning phone calls. A shared calendar shows who's visiting and when, with a reminder if a stretch of days has nobody scheduled. If the check-in doesn't happen by mid-morning, the app nudges them first and only pings a Coordinator if it stays quiet. It's a flat £4.99/month for the whole family, with optional add-ons: two-way Companion mode for photos and voice notes, and a Family Map that needs both the Coordinator and the individual to opt in.
What holds up
- +Flat £4.99/month covers the whole family, not per person
- +Escalates only if needed, nudges the person first, pings a Coordinator only if it stays quiet
- +Family Map needs both the Coordinator and the individual to opt in, and turns off in seconds
Mind the limits
- −Relies on the relative actively tapping the button, no passive or automatic check-in
- −Companion mode and Family Map both need the individual's own opt-in, not just the family's
