HAJR
Blocks porn sites with a timed commitment device, and tracks recovery privately.
HAJR blocks adult sites in iPhone browsers for a length of time you set in advance, and removing a site from the block list has to wait out that same timer, so the decision gets made before the urge hits rather than during it. An uninstall-protection timer does the same for deleting the app itself. Unlike accountability apps, it keeps no screenshots or activity reports and sends nothing to a partner; a free Chrome extension adds site blocking and local image blurring on desktop.
What holds up
- +Uninstall protection puts your own pre-set timer between you and deleting the app.
- +No screenshots or activity reports sent to a partner, unlike accountability-app competitors.
- +Chrome extension is free and adds local image blurring, not just a site blocker.
Mind the limits
- −iPhone only for the main blocking app — no Android version mentioned.
- −Blocks sites in iPhone browsers, not adult content served inside other apps.
