Runs Windows games on Apple Silicon Macs via Wine, picking the graphics layer per game
Highball installs a verified Wine engine, lets you add Windows Steam or your Epic library with one click, and picks the compatibility layer (DXMT, DXVK or D3DMetal) per game from an open, community-sourced database with a verdict: verified, reported, predicted or blocked. It names specific fixes it applies automatically — a MoltenVK HDR bug that froze Portal 2 on map load now runs at 210fps once HDR is toggled off — and flags kernel-anti-cheat games like Valorant or Fortnite as impossible before you download them. There's no account, no telemetry, and the app is GPL-3 with the compatibility data open to reuse.
