HonestFarewell
Compares funeral home prices side by side, with no signup and no sold leads.
HonestFarewell pulls each funeral home's own price list and shows the median and range for a basket like direct cremation in your city, with the date it was last checked. Searching needs no account, email or phone number, and callback requests go only to the homes you pick instead of being sold to several at once. The site makes money from funeral homes paying for verified listings and callback leads, not from your data — the opposite of what it says most sites in this category do.
What holds up
- +40,250 price lists checked, each dated, so you know how current a price actually is.
- +No signup, email or phone number needed just to search and compare.
- +Callback requests go only to the homes you pick, not sold to multiple homes at once.
Mind the limits
- −US only — no coverage for funeral homes outside the United States.
- −Price lists can go stale between checks — one listed home hadn't been rechecked in over a week.
