I Hate Corrupt Files
Checks and repairs corrupt Excel, Word and PowerPoint files by validating their XML.
Drop in a .xlsx, .docx or .pptx and it unzips the file, checks every XML part against the ECMA-376 schema, and shows exactly what's broken — including schema faults that trip up AI-generated files but plain XML checks miss. Tested against 5,342 real spreadsheets that all open fine in Excel, it raised zero false alarms versus 239 for the competing OfficeCLI tool on the same files. An API returns a verdict (ok, tolerated, needs_repair, broken) plus a repair endpoint that hands back the fixed file, and nothing is stored or logged.
