Interaktiv Tap
Turns an iPad into a gesture-based control surface for every deck in Traktor.
Interaktiv Tap replaces Traktor's mapping screen with an iPad surface for track, stem, remix, and live-input decks, hot cues, loops, EQ, and filters, controlled with buttons, sliders, and two-finger pads instead of knobs a touchscreen can't grip. A gesture pad records a two-finger move across three axes (X, Y, and finger distance) and loops it back in sync with the beat, and a two-finger tap is required for anything that could interrupt the set, so a stray touch can't fire it. It's a one-time $14.99 after a free download, needs iPadOS 18+ on any iPad but the mini, and only sends control, not audio, so the music keeps playing if the iPad drops out.

What holds up
- +One-time $14.99 purchase, not a subscription, after a free download.
- +Doesn't touch the audio path — if the iPad drops out mid-set, the music keeps playing.
- +Requires a deliberate two-finger tap for set-altering moves, so a stray touch can't fire one by accident.
- +Merges into your existing Traktor settings file — your other controllers and mappings stay untouched.
Mind the limits
- −Doesn't work on iPad mini — you need a full-size iPad on iPadOS 18 or later.
- −Sends control only, not audio — Traktor and a computer still have to be running for sound.
