Job Beacon
Monitors company career pages hourly and emails you the moment a matching role appears
JobBeacon checks the career pages of companies you pick, on an hourly schedule, and emails you when a posting matches your keyword and location filters — replacing the open-15-tabs-close-them-all ritual of checking manually. The free plan covers 5 companies with daily-capped alerts and 2 keywords each; Pro removes the company limit, checks every 30 minutes, and sends alerts immediately. Compared to LinkedIn's broad job-alert feed, it has no algorithmic ranking, ads or tracking — just the postings from pages you chose.
What holds up
- +Checks career pages on a schedule and emails you — no daily manual tab-opening ritual
- +Free plan monitors 5 companies for free, forever, not just a trial
- +No algorithmic feed, ads or tracking — alerts only ever come from companies you picked
Mind the limits
- −Free plan caps alerts at once per day per company — same-day re-postings wait until the next day
- −Only watches career pages you add manually — no discovery of new companies to track
