MadsLorentzen/ai-job-search
Open-source Claude Code framework that scores job postings and drafts tailored CVs.
This is a fork-and-run framework built on Claude Code that evaluates job postings against your profile, drafts a tailored CV and cover letter through a drafter-reviewer pipeline, and preps you for interviews, all running on your own machine. The core workflow is language- and country-agnostic, though the job-portal search skills are built for the Danish market and meant to be swapped for local job boards. The maintainer used it on their own job search after a layoff: 69 tailored applications, 20 first interviews, and one signed offer. It requires Claude Code, Python 3.10+, Bun, and a LaTeX distribution to compile the CV and cover letter.

What holds up
- +Runs entirely on your own machine through Claude Code — no third party holding your job-search data.
- +Free and open source, with no affiliated token or paid sponsorship — anything claiming otherwise is a scam.
- +Maintainer's own run produced 69 applications, 20 first interviews, and one signed offer, and says so plainly.
Mind the limits
- −Job-portal search skills are built for the Danish market — other countries need to swap in local job boards.
- −Needs Python, Bun, and a LaTeX distribution installed to compile the CV and cover letter.
