MakeDecks
Turns notes, PDFs, spreadsheets or links into an editable slide deck in a minute.
MakeDecks takes messy notes, a PDF, a spreadsheet, an old PowerPoint, a web page or even a YouTube video and turns it into a deck in about a minute, keeping spreadsheet numbers exact instead of rounding them. Every slide is click-to-edit text with 15 layouts and 8 themes to restyle the whole deck at once, or you can type what you want changed ("turn this into a chart") and it edits the slide live. It exports as a real, editable PowerPoint or PDF that opens in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides — free, no watermark, up to 3 decks a day.
What holds up
- +Keeps spreadsheet numbers exact instead of rounding — a $3.84M total stays $3.84M, not "about $4M"
- +Exports real editable PPTX/PDF files that open natively in PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides
- +Free with no watermark and not a time-limited trial — the daily cap is the only restriction
Mind the limits
- −Free tier capped at 3 decks a day, with no mention of a paid tier for heavier or team use
- −Design is limited to 15 layouts and 8 themes — not a tool for fully custom brand design systems
