Metrune
Puts a focus timer, Codex/GitHub activity, and device events into the MacBook notch
Metrune is a local-first macOS notch app combining a task-bound Focus timer with read-only Codex session state, 30-day GitHub activity, and battery/Bluetooth events, turning the accumulated effort into levels, badges, and weekly/monthly reports. Tasks, focus history, and badges stay on the Mac by default — no cloud account, no diagnostics upload — and the app explicitly lists what it never backs up: GitHub credentials, AI prompts and responses, source code. The free v0.1.0 Community Release needs Apple Silicon and macOS 15+, and is ad-hoc signed rather than notarized, so first launch needs a right-click-Open workaround.
