MindDory: Vocabulary & Grammar
Catches your mistakes as you type and turns them into spaced-repetition flashcards.
MindDory sits in your phone keyboard, a Chrome extension and a web app, saving words you meet or get wrong as flashcards that resurface with spaced repetition. The keyboard flags grammar mistakes as you type and explains them, but changes nothing until you tap Fix, and it never saves your typed text as cards. The free plan has unlimited cards and reviews plus 30 translations a day; Premium raises scanning and story limits. Grammar checking covers 9 languages against 60+ for translation.
What holds up
- +Keyboard only marks and explains mistakes — nothing changes until you tap Fix.
- +Free plan gives unlimited cards and reviews, not just a trial cap.
- +Connects to Claude or any MCP client, so words from AI chats become cards automatically.
Mind the limits
- −Grammar checking works in only 9 languages, versus 60+ for translation.
- −Free plan caps translations at 30 a day — heavier use needs Premium.
