MySprout
Syncs Singapore bank accounts read-only and auto-sorts spending in one app.
MySprout connects to DBS, OCBC, UOB, and Citibank Singapore with read-only access — it can see transactions but has no transfer or withdrawal capability — and auto-categorizes them alongside recurring-charge detection that catches things like a Netflix price hike from $15.98 to $19.98. For any other bank, you upload a PDF e-statement and AI extracts and categorizes each transaction for review before saving. Statement uploads and expense tracking are free; Pro adds live bank sync, unlimited uploads, and more wallets.
What holds up
- +Read-only bank access — no transfer or withdrawal capability exists in the app at all
- +Detects recurring charges and price hikes automatically, like a caught Netflix increase
- +Works with any bank via PDF statement upload, even ones without direct sync support
Mind the limits
- −Direct bank sync covers only four Singapore banks — DBS, OCBC, UOB, and Citibank
- −Live bank sync and unlimited statement uploads require the paid Pro tier
