Free open-source worldbuilding wiki, timeline and mindmap for writers and GMs
Neverkin is a solo hobby project — a wiki-style tool for characters, events, articles, custom calendars, mindmaps and a visual timeline, with real-time collaborative editing for writing groups or TTRPG tables. It's GPL-3.0 and self-hostable via Docker/Node.js, with a hosted web version and desktop app, and is free with no paywalls or credit cards accepted, by the developer's own account. It also connects to an AI assistant via a built-in MCP server for note-taking.
