nxnative turns your own Switch game files (NSP) and your console's prod.keys into an unsigned IPA you sideload — the game's code runs directly on the Apple chip, with its NVN graphics rebuilt on Metal, so it's not emulation. It needs iOS/iPadOS 26 on an iPhone 15 Pro or newer, or an iPad with an M1 chip or later, since older chips can't decode the BC-compressed textures; unsupported games still get packed into a best-guess IPA that may not start. Tested titles list real numbers, like Breath of the Wild at 16GB hitting 60fps on firmware 1.9.0, or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at 11.9GB missing Mii heads. The project credits d2r-mobile, Ryujinx, Atmosphère and yuzu for the techniques it builds on, and ships no game files itself.

What holds up

  • +Runs the game's own code natively on the Apple chip instead of emulating it, per the README
  • +Lists tested games with real numbers — size, fps, which firmware version hits 60fps
  • +Openly credits the projects (d2r-mobile, Ryujinx, Atmosphère, yuzu) its approach builds on

Mind the limits

  • −Needs an iPhone 15 Pro/A17 Pro or M1 iPad or newer — older devices can't read the textures
  • −You must supply your own NSP dumps and prod.keys — nothing playable is included
  • −Unsupported games get a best-guess IPA that the README says may not even start
