Obserf
Finds real threads worth replying to about your dev tool, then drafts a reply for you to post
Obserf searches Hacker News, Reddit, GitHub and Brave for public conversations where your tool is a genuine fit, rejects most candidates with rule-based filters — duplicates, stale posts, thin content, blocked hosts — before a model ever reads them, and drafts a reply. It stops there: you check the thread's rules, edit the draft, and post from your own account, with no auto-posting. It's open source, runs locally via Bun, and needs a Claude Code subscription rather than a separate API key or account.

What holds up
- +Never posts on your behalf — you review and post every reply yourself
- +Rejects duplicates, stale posts and thin content with rules before spending a model call on them
- +Uses your existing Claude Code subscription — no separate API key or Obserf account
Mind the limits
- −Requires Bun 1.4+ and an active Claude Code subscription to run at all
- −A scan spends your own Claude Code usage limits, not a separate quota
