OutOfTheCloud
Reads the Bible aloud and lets you stop to ask a question about what you heard.
OutOfTheCloud reads the World English Bible aloud in a synthetic voice, word for word from the publisher's text with nothing paraphrased, and lets you say 'wait' mid-chapter to ask what a line meant — the reading resumes where it left off. It says plainly that the companion is software, not a real guide, and reads the text as 'compressed wisdom' from a depth-psychological angle rather than claiming to recite from memory or settle what you should believe. The whole Bible is free to hear; the conversation feature is capped at a 10-minute trial, then $9.99/month ($79/year).

What holds up
- +Reads the text word for word from the publisher's files — nothing paraphrased or generated from memory.
- +Says plainly it's software if asked, and names where other translations differ instead of picking one.
- +The whole Bible, all 66 books, is free to hear — only the conversation feature is paid.
Mind the limits
- −Free conversation is just a ten-minute trial — ongoing dialogue needs the $9.99/month Plus plan.
- −App Store edition isn't out yet — iPhone install goes through Safari's home screen instead.
- −Reads one translation, the World English Bible — not whichever version you already study from.
