Pause
Adds a quick puzzle before distracting iPhone apps unlock, tracks screen time saved
Instead of blocking an app outright like iOS Screen Time, it puts a short puzzle — word jumble, maze, sixdoku and others — in front of distracting apps, then lets you choose 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes before it locks again. Free with ads; a 7-day trial unlocks all ten puzzles and removes them. Built on Apple's Screen Time framework, so the apps you choose never leave your device, and uninstalling restores everything instantly.
What holds up
- +Free ad-supported tier exists — not trial-only like most screen-time apps
- +Uninstalling removes every restriction instantly — nothing stays changed
- +Built on Apple's Screen Time framework — your chosen apps never leave the device
Mind the limits
- −iPhone only — Android users are out for now
- −A puzzle is friction, not a lock — determined scrolling can still get through
