PazBy is an Android app that notifies you when you're near a place you saved earlier — the hardware store for that one part, a pharmacy on your commute, a friend's new address. It's a one-time $2.99 purchase with no subscription, no ads, and no required account; saved places stay on your phone, with an optional encrypted backup to your own Google Drive. A Travel Mode swaps your everyday list for just the places saved in the country you're visiting, and a 'nearest first' sort turns a cluster of saved spots into a route.
What holds up
- +One-time $2.99 — no subscription, ever, unlike the location reminders Google Keep dropped.
- +Saved places stay on your phone; cloud backup is opt-in, to your own Google Drive, not PazBy's servers.
- +Travel Mode swaps your everyday errands for just the places saved in the country you're visiting.
- +No account required to use it.
Mind the limits
- −Android only — an iPhone version isn't offered, so iPhone users are out for now.
- −Saving places leans on Google Maps POIs and sharing — no other map providers are mentioned.
