Project Medusa is browser-based layout software for print, catalogues and ads — an alternative to Adobe InDesign where several people can edit the same paragraph at once and clients correct text directly through a link with no account needed. It matches a new price list against typeset pages by item number, updates changed prices automatically, and flags any hand edits instead of silently overwriting them. It builds one file to PDF/X-4 (optionally PDF/UA) and runs a built-in check before applying that label, but is explicit that "it is a plausibility check, not a certification." It's in beta, and new profiles are approved by hand.
