ReClaim Miles reconstructs a mileage log from evidence you already have — odometer readings, fuel and service receipts, invoices — and checks it against IRS Publication 463 and Treas. Reg. § 1.274-5, splitting mid-year rate changes correctly and flagging when the five-vehicle rule blocks the standard mileage rate. Every attested period is committed to a Merkle root in an append-only, hash-chained audit ledger, so an edited entry breaks the chain and is detectable, and reconstructed trips are replayed through a fuel simulation that rejects a log needing an impossible refill. It's a Windows-only desktop app that runs 100% offline with no GPS tracking or cloud copy; the CPA-ready Audit Defense Pack ships only with the CPA and Enterprise Pro plans.
