Keeps saved contacts hidden from WhatsApp, Facebook, and other apps that scan your phonebook.
Recontact stores numbers in its own address book instead of your phone's shared contacts, so anything saved there stays out of WhatsApp status views, Facebook friend suggestions, and loan-app contact harvesting. It still gives full caller ID on incoming calls and works offline, and the site says contacts are never analyzed, sold, or used for ads. Android is live today; iOS, iPad, macOS, Windows, and web are all listed as coming soon.
