Rhem Labs
Tabletop robot that checks your parent's vitals, makes calls for them, and reports to family.
Rhem is a tabletop robot for an aging parent's home. It takes blood pressure, heart rate and SpO2 readings through a finger sensor, logs them in a dated history, and has AI agents browse websites and make phone calls to book appointments, call the pharmacy or order essentials. It compares conversation patterns across calls over time — which topics recur, when someone loses their train of thought — and surfaces changes to family in a shared app. Rhem is explicit that its readings and conversation cues are not a diagnosis or clinical assessment.

What holds up
- +Books appointments, calls the pharmacy and orders essentials on its own — one less errand for family.
- +Logs blood pressure, heart rate and SpO2 in a dated history, so trends show without anyone writing them down.
- +Compares conversation patterns across calls, surfacing what changed instead of one isolated chat.
- +Shared family app gives everyone the same readings and requests — no separate updates to relay.
Mind the limits
- −Explicitly not a diagnosis or cognitive assessment — a real health concern still needs a doctor.
- −Requires buying dedicated tabletop hardware, not something you add to a device you already own.
- −No price shown on the page — you have to click 'Order Rhem' to find out what it costs.
