Seams handles access, spend caps, and metering on one request path
AI-gateway that meters and caps customer spend mid-stream, down to the cent.
Seams sits between your product and model providers as a gateway your customers call under model names and routing you control, holding money on a balance before a request leaves and re-checking accumulated spend every 250ms while the response streams. If a caller nears their cap, it aborts the provider connection at 98% of the hold and settles the ledger to the cent — no overnight reconciliation. It leaves invoicing, tax and merchant-of-record status to Stripe, and only meters text and agent traffic, not embeddings, images or audio.
