Shellme
SSH client for iPhone and Mac that turns plain English into one reviewable shell command.
Shellme is an SSH client — a mobile app for iPhone/iPad and a full desktop workspace for Mac, sharing the same accounts, hosts and command library. Describe what you need in plain English and it returns a single shell command, rated for danger and explained, that you have to tap to run — nothing executes automatically, and the AI runs entirely on-device (Apple Intelligence or downloadable models like Qwen and Phi-3.5). It ships a library of 500+ commands across 38 categories, and the Mac app adds a Team Vault and MCP access for other AI agents.
What holds up
- +Every AI-suggested command needs a manual tap to run — nothing executes automatically.
- +AI runs on-device (Apple Intelligence or a local model), so requests stay on the phone.
- +Same accounts and command library shared between the mobile app and the Mac workspace.
Mind the limits
- −Apple-only — no Windows, Linux or Android client.
- −Downloadable local models take up device storage on top of the app itself.
