Shield Date
Pays a real person to manually check if you're mentioned in the Tea App or AWDTSG groups
Shield Date runs a manual, person-by-person search of the Tea App and the Are We Dating The Same Guy Facebook groups for posts naming you, and sends back a report with screenshots or screen recordings as proof within hours. A single scan is $59 one-time; a 3-month "Watch" ($99) or year-round "Shield" ($239) adds repeated monthly checks and removal guidance, all billed once with no auto-renewal.
What holds up
- +Searches are done by a person by hand, not an automated scraper
- +Delivers proof — screenshots and screen recordings — within a few hours
- +One-time payment plans, no auto-renewing subscription
Mind the limits
- −$59 for a single search, or up to $239/year for ongoing checks — not cheap for peace of mind
- −Only covers the Tea App and one Facebook group — mentions elsewhere aren't checked
