SiteHelm
Lets Claude run 115 WordPress jobs, with a preview, verify and rollback step
SiteHelm connects a WordPress site to Claude and exposes 115 operations — pages, media, menus, Elementor layouts, SEO, WooCommerce — each following the same cycle: preview the exact before/after field change, apply only by resending a single-use plan token, then re-read the live database to confirm what actually landed instead of just trusting what was sent. It snapshots state before every write so rollback restores the prior version, and permissions are checked against the authenticating WordPress user's own capabilities. Free and open source, no account required; Elementor's serialized page tree gets 37 dedicated operations so an edit re-serializes from a full document snapshot instead of leaving a half-repaired widget.

What holds up
- +Verifies changes by re-reading the live database, not just trusting what it wrote
- +Rollback restores from a pre-write snapshot — a real prior state, not an undo stack
- +Permissions inherit the WordPress user's own capabilities, checked on every call
- +Free and open source, no account needed
Mind the limits
- −Built around Claude specifically — not documented for other AI assistants
- −WordPress only — no coverage for sites on other platforms
