SnapDub
Turns a long video link into captioned vertical clips, tracking the speaker's face.
SnapDub takes a pasted YouTube/Twitch/Zoom link or an uploaded file and returns a batch of vertical clips cropped to whoever's speaking, captioned word-by-word, titled, described and tagged, ready to post. It scores moments from the transcript plus facial expression, gesture, on-screen action and sound, not text alone, so it can still find a moment in a wordless or low-speech stretch. Editing choices like which line opens the clip, a single push-in on the line that lands, and masking one muted swear word are automated per clip, and skipped on clips that don't need them. There's a free tier to start, no card required.

What holds up
- +Scores moments from facial expression, gesture and sound, not just the transcript.
- +Opens each clip on its strongest line rather than always the first sentence.
- +Free to start with no card, and can connect a channel so new episodes clip automatically.
Mind the limits
- −Built specifically for talking-head formats (podcasts, streams, interviews), not general editing.
- −Pricing past the free tier isn't shown on the page — real cost is unknown before signup.
