Tesktop
Turns your parked Tesla's screen into a real second display for an Apple Silicon Mac.
Extends your Mac's desktop onto the Tesla's center screen over a local Wi-Fi link your Mac creates — under 100 ms latency, tap-to-click, nothing routed through a server. Needs an Apple Silicon Mac on macOS 15+, an iPhone for the hotspot, and the car in Park; Intel Macs aren't supported and it won't work while driving. 60 minutes free to try, then $9/month, $39/year, or $79 once for life.
What holds up
- +Local Wi-Fi only, under 100 ms latency, nothing passes through a server
- +Lifetime option is $79 once — the same cost as two years of the yearly plan
- +60 free minutes to try with no credit card before paying anything
Mind the limits
- −Apple Silicon only — Intel Macs aren't supported at all
- −Only works with the car in Park, so it's no use while actually driving
