Groups packet captures into app-aware sessions for Mac network debugging, locally
Tracexy is a native macOS alternative to Wireshark that groups live or saved PCAP/PCAPNG traffic into app-aware sessions — by application, domain, IP, or protocol — before you drop into decoded fields, timing, and raw hex bytes. Protected exports can strip raw packet bytes, credential-bearing metadata, and mask literal IPs for a safer handoff, while raw PCAP/PCAPNG stays available for other tools. It's notarized, requires macOS 14+, and the vendor's own roadmap separates what already works in the 0.6.0 build from what's still in development, rather than promising both at once.
