Ultracite v8
Lints and auto-fixes AI coding agents' edits against strict rules in under half a second.
Ultracite hooks into agent coding sessions and runs a linter/formatter after every edit, checking against hundreds of strict rules and fixing what it can automatically. In the shown example it caught 11 problems in a 22-line React file — untyped state, a missing effect dependency, missing alt text, loose equality, a nested ternary — and cleared all of them in 334ms. It's zero-config on top of Oxlint, Biome or ESLint, and the init command detects your package manager, frameworks and any existing lint config to carry over.

What holds up
- +Re-checks a file in about a third of a second, so it doesn't stall an agent's workflow
- +Zero-config on top of Oxlint, Biome or ESLint — keeps the linter your project already uses
- +Setup carries over rules from your existing lint/format config instead of replacing them
Mind the limits
- −Type-aware checks and JS plugins stay off unless you ask for them — not on by default
- −Built for JS/TS stacks (Oxlint, Biome, ESLint) — no sign of support for other languages
